Week 2 Recap

Thank you to everyone who made it out this week. With the addition of a new team in Green River it felt like the excitement ratcheted up a notch and everyone was having a great time.
Here is what you need to know, just in case you do not want to read my color commentary:
- THERE ARE NO GAMES NEXT WEEK. See you on Monday February 24.

- You can start warming up as early as 7:50.
- Games start at the time listed. Warm up beforehand. There are extra boards.
- You must be here on time for your game or you forfeit that game.
- If you don't like the team name I put in place for you, tell me and I'll change it.

Now on to the commentary:
We started the night with the much anticipated match up between our 2 undefeated teams in Just the LeTip and Brothers Gochman. Unfortunately, the match did not live up to the hype as Brothers Gochman, who was missing 1 Brother was not up to the task as they were destroyed 63 - 38.
3 Guys, rebranded to 2 Maybe 3 Guys as Joe Reitano is yet to show up. They went 1-1 again in 2 close match ups defeating The Great Cornholios by 6 and losing to Jtd by 4. The team is hopeful Joe will show up in 2 weeks and help them get win 2 games for the first time.
The Great Cornholios would follow up their close loss to 2 Maybe 3 Guys by subbing in Rabbi Siegel for a 51 - 27 victory over our only female duo (Kate/Jordan) in Bibbidi Bobbidi Booyah.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Booyah also lost their earlier match to Bag & Chain, but I would not sleep on them as they have the technique down and come playoff time could pull off a few upsets.
Green River made their long awaited debut. It was a solid first outing as they lost one to the still undefeated Just the Letip and snatched a victory away from We are the Champs by tying the game on the last bag.
Remember, first person to get 4 bags in the hole in one frame gets $100. It almost happen as Letip hit their first 3 bags in the 8th frame against Gochman, but then completely missed the board. Remember, it's like bowling, when you have 2 strikes, stop thinking about the Turkey or you will never get it.
