Salute to Israel Parade

For the first time, Merrick-Bellmore will be marching as a community in the Salute-to-Israel Parade on June 1st. Each synagogue will have a liason to work with the other 8 synagogues in the community. If anyone is interested in being this liason please contact Roberta Gochman (Gochya1-AT-optonline.net) or Brian Bertan (BBertan-AT-yahoo.com) and they will give you the contact for the parade. It would be great to have a huge turnout from Ohav.

The Merrick-Bellmore Jewish Community council is also looking for volunteer artist to work on the banner and the other materials to be displayed when we march. If you are at least High School age and have talent and experience in painting and graphic design please contact with the group that is designing the banner.
